Lens Samples

Most of the lenses we produce are designed to exact customer specifications and manufactured for the exclusive use of the commissioning client.

Because tooling costs for new lens designs are high and most clients do not want 'generic' designs we do not have a large range of lenses available as samples

We have however produced the following desgins that can be use 'off the shelf' either for development projects or commercial units

Linear Lens Samples

15cm Wide, Curved Linear Fresnel Lens

lineardemokit This small lens is suitable for use in the design of low concentration PV applications.

It is available in lengths of un-laminated film and also as a demonstartor kit.

45cm Wide, Curved Linear Fresnel Lens

45cm_graphic This lens is designed to be used in the development of PV, PV/heat hybrid and small scale CSP (thermal) applications.

The lens is available in 1m lengths and bonded to a 3mm PMMA support structure.

2 Meter Wide, Faceted Linear Fresnel Lens

factetedunit This lens was designed for use in the development of CSP (thermal) applications.

Typically the lens would be used in systems using heat temperatures in the region of 100 - 300 Celcius.

Nearly all radial lenses used in High Concentartion Photovoltaic systems need to be custoim designed.
