Linear Fresnel lenses focus sunlight in one dimension to a strip. They are used in Thermal Concentrated Solar (CSP) and Low concentration PV applications.
The optimal concentration ration is in the region of X15 - X20 suns. Microsharp designs and manufactures linear Fresnel film of up to 1m wide at any length required.
